October 20, 2015 Board Meeting Agenda Item #16 Title APPROVAL OF THE SUPERINTENDENT'S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE MONTH ENDING AUGUST 31, 2015 Description The Superintendent's Financial Statements for the month ending August 31, 2015 does not reflect any unexpected trends for the first quarter of the 2015-2016 fiscal year.  The negative trend in the General Fund will continue until approximately November when property taxes are received.  Expenditures are anticipated to exceed revenues at year end in the General Fund because of the use of unassigned fund balance included in the adopted budget.
